Who answers, and what this page cannot do

Those lines ring in Mumbai, and India keeps IST, UTC+5:30, all year. Export markets are worked through appointed agents, distributors, electric utilities and OEMs, so a message naming its destination country is routed once rather than twice. Six lines, in the order a chart is read
Each removes one question from the reply. What is left out comes back instead of a code.
Geometry, in one word
Crutch or transition. A crutch is the fork inside a multi-core cable; a transition is where it meets a connector, a bushing or a bar. Breakout or boot settles which.
Outlet count, or core count
Boots are catalogued by outlets, breakouts by cores. The low-voltage crutch chart holds 2 to 7 core; the cold shrink crutch, 2 and 4 core only.
The pair, a then b
What it passes over, then what it closes onto. LV4GBB-0415 reads 41 as supplied and 16 recovered, so 41 alone identifies no row.
Cable construction
PVC, XLPE, rubber or PILC, and belted or screened where it is paper. Belted paper is its own case: the semi-conductive crutch screens each core individually.
System voltage
The kV picks the family before the size. Insulcore-LV stops at 3.3 kV; the non-tracking crutch reaches 36 kV on 3-core cable.
Count per code, and the destination
Quantities against each code, with the country and the port. A size absent from the charts is still worth stating: custom dimensions are listed as available on request.
What the purchase line itself has to carry
- Geometry
- GHRB is the right-angle boot on a harness connector, GRB the moulded one at a termination. The word alone will not do it.
- Both diameters, with their letters
- a and b, or Ds and Df. One number alone cannot be checked at goods-in.
- Outlet or core count
- Outlets for a boot, cores for a breakout.
- Cable construction
- PVC, XLPE, rubber, or PILC and whether it is belted.
- System voltage
- 3.3 kV, 36 kV, or a note that it sits on a harness.
- Lining
- Hot-melt adhesive on the low-voltage crutch, mastic on the non-tracking, red mastic on the semi-conductive. The harness range is catalogued with or without it.
- Material class
- Semi-conductive and insulating bodies look identical in a photograph. One is catalogued at 1 x 10⁷ ohm.cm minimum volume resistivity, the other at 1 x 10¹⁴.
- The standard called
- Only where a harness part is bought against one. The Y-type boot is type tested to SAE AS81765/1. What it covers.
Not published — ask the manufacturer
Office hours. No document behind this site gives them against the Mumbai numbers. A GHYB dimension table. The Y-type datasheet exists, linked from the outlet-count page, but no GHYB size chart appears in the sources this site works from. A cross-reference to another maker's part numbers. None is published, so an unmarked boot is placed by measurement. Price, lead time and stock. Held here in no form.
